年全球疫情让许多人的生活陷入困境，但是也有许多人晋身百万富翁行列。新报告指出，去年美国又多了多万个百万富翁，超10%的增长率创下近年新高，其中最富有的1%美国人财富增长了32%，这也使得美国的贫富差距进一步扩大。

财富专家指出，考虑到通胀率暴涨、利率上升和可能发生的经济衰退，年或将无法保持去年的财富涨幅。今年以来股市下跌已经开始令投资者的利益受损。迄今为止纳斯达克指数已下跌了14.5%，标准普尔指数下跌了8.4%。
